Starting My Own Gig
It took me over ten years to finally come to the realization that I needed to start my own business. I've supported SPAWAR (Charleston) since 2010 by providing information assurance (cybersecurity) services and have been in the National Guard just as long as a Signal Officer. It's not that those aren't fun, I just needed something of my own creation to work on.
Now, equipped with real-world experience, I feel like I can help other small business owners apply the methodologies I've learned as a contractor and a service member to secure their businesses.

DoD Information Assurance (Cybersecurity) is what I have been steeped in for the last nine years. Having worked with the Navy, NAVAIR, and the Marine Corps as a contractor has given me the well-rounded experience needed coming from an Army background. From Analyst to Engineer, and now Project Manager, I have worked my way up through the ranks demonstrating the desire to grow and capacity for greater responsibility.

Oddities and Fun Facts
I built my first computer late in my life (age 23), its name is Megatron.
I knew I wanted to be in IT before college. That's why I chose Signal as my military branch right out of ROTC.
I am self-taught on the drums and I'm the most OK drummer in Charleston, SC.
Music is a passion of mine. My collection ranges from oldies to heavy metal.
IT is fun but I really like to get outside as much as I can. I enjoy ALL the outdoor activities.
My long term goal is to eventually add penetration testing (ethical hacking) to my portfolio of services.
